Matt Ensor is a leading figure in Generative AI across New Zealand. Since 2018, he has been at the forefront of AI innovation, and since July 2024, he has worked full-time helping organisations accelerate their use of generative AI. As Director of Kia Ora AI, Matt designs and delivers interactive workshops that demystify AI and empower teams to integrate it into real-world workflows.
He is a keynote speaker and trainer for Engineering NZ and the Institute of Directors (NZ), and chairs the Generative AI Working Group at the AI Forum. His work spans sectors from engineering and construction to local government and nonprofit leadership, with a focus on making AI a competitive advantage for every organisation.
